BE SeriesThe BE Series from IC is a big bus in a small body. It is built to last a full 12 years, not the 7 typical of a Type A bus. An all-steel body and thick 16-gauge side sheets, and it's every bit as tall and wide as a longer bus. The perfect way to transport between 14 and 30 students in a real bus – not a van. With safety and student protection always front of mind, the BE Series has a lighted, steering wheel-mounted entrance door control and eight-way light switches to safeguard children at each stop. Additionally, an electric entrance door and pebble tread stepwell provide for easy entrance and exit, while alarms inform the driver of key engine functions. And to ensure the bus is empty when it should be, IC's own Leave No Student Behind safety system is the perfect solution. For mechanics, maintenance couldn't be easier, with a lightweight 3-piece fiberglass hood, coordinated system service intervals and a proven, reliable MaxxForce engine.
