CE SeriesIC has always had the interests of their two most important people in mind, the drivers and the students. Safety and utmost protection set the foundation for the design of the CE Series. So IC built a bus with an integrated chassis, all-steel cage construction, 16-gauge steel sides and 18,500 lb rear steel-spring suspension. And it is powered by the proven MaxxForce engine. A combination of safety features makes for the complete 'student guardian', and IC placed lighted controls for the entrance door, warning lights, and other high-use items, on the steering wheel. The height and width of the entrance door were increased to make students more visible. And to ensure the bus is empty, they made the proprietary Leave No Student Behind system, standard equipment.
