See the water wheel turn the grinding stones and hear how corn is ground by the turn of a stone. Our miller will delight you with tales from the past and present. Hear the Pilgrim's story and how important the Mill was to the survival of the colony. Tours on the hour and half hour. Visit the Mill Stone Creamery ice cream shop before or after your tour.

Plimouth Plantation:

It's 1627 all the time at Plimoth Plantation, the living history attraction in Plymouth, Massachusetts, that recreates the life of the Pilgrims and their Native neighbors. Nearly half a million people descend upon this 17th-century site each year to interact with costumed interpreters and to glimpse the life of New England's earliest settlers. Plimoth Plantation is located less than an hour from downtown Boston off Route 3 South at Exit 4. It's also just 20 minutes from Cape Cod (Route 3 North - Exit 5). In addition to the 1627 English Village and Wampanoag Homesite, the recreated home of the Pilgrims' Native American neighbors, Plimoth Plantation also offers a visitor center with theaters, specialty shops and a food program featuring 17th-century cuisine. Mayflower II: An exhibit of Plimoth Plantation, is only a few steps north of Plymouth Rock (which is three miles north of Plimoth Plantation itself). The admission fee for the Mayflower II includes, a visit to the ship, an audiovisual show at the theater, and indoor exhibits on Puritanism and early Pilgrim life. A museum shop and picnic area are here as well, and there are restaurants and snack shops right across the street.

Pilgrim Hall Museum: The oldest historical museum in continuous service in the United States, Pilgrim Hall was built of substantial granite in 1824 to house artifacts the Pilgrims used, a library for research into Plymouth's early history, and galleries for the monumental paintings depicting important events in Pilgrim history.
