DATTCO Awarded Top Dealer in the United States

New Britain, CT- DATTCO Sales and Service received the “Dealer of the Year Award” from Mid Bus, a subsidiary of Collins Industries. DATTCO was the top dealer in the United States out of over 57 dealers. Mid Bus manufactures specialty vehicles including Type A school buses, from 10 to 48 passengers. The award was presented by Tony Augsburger National Sales Manager of Mid Bus, during the annual dealer meeting at in Findlay, Ohio. In attendance to receive the award was Mike Laffan DATTCO Sales Manager and Bryan Miller, DATTCO Vice President of Sales & Service.

The award was given to DATTCO for gaining and exceeding market share for Mid Bus on the Type A buses in 2006.

DATTCO is not only a dealer for IC Corporation, but Mid Bus, Glaval and Turtle Top as well. They sell a total of approximately 700 vehicles annually. DATTCO specializes in installing wheel chair lifts, and is also official dealers for Ricon, Braun, National Seating, SURE-LOK and Amaya Astron. DATTCO Sales & Service division employs over 120 mechanics, 50 operations personnel and 10 sales staff. DATTCO has 12 facilities throughout the Northeast which provides service to its customers.
