IC Corporation Names DATTCO “Bus Dealer of the Year”

New Britain, CT- DATTCO Sales and Service received the “Dealer of the Year Award” for the Eastern region of the United States from IC Corporation, a division of International Truck and Engine. The company was also honored with this accomplishment in 2003. The award was presented during the annual dealer meeting in Tucson, AZ, on April 1, 2006. Present from DATTCO to accept the award were Donald DeVivo, Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer, John Della Ventura, Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, Bryan Miller, Vice President of the Sales & Service Division, and Mike Laffan, Sales Manager. The company sold over 600 school buses in 2005 and exceeded there dealer quota by 16%.
IC Corporation selects the Dealer of the Year winner based upon a number of performance metrics including: market share, customer satisfaction ratings, and year-over-year performance improvements.
DATTCO has been a school bus dealer for IC-Corporation school buses since 1992 and with the recent acquisition of Maine, the company now serves as the “Official IC-Corporation Dealer” for all of the New England states.

DATTCO has already sold 500 school buses in 2006 and anticipates sales to reach close to 650 buses before the close of the year.
