DATTCO RECEIVES COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD FROM CONNECTICUT RIVERS COUNCIL, BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA
DATTCO, Inc. received a Community Service Award from the Connecticut Rivers Council, Boy Scouts of America at their 13th Annual Good Scout Awards Reception, held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Cromwell on June 15, 2009. The Community Service Award is given to an organization that plays a vital role in the development and growth of a community, and makes significant contributions to the quality of life in the communities it serves.
Accepting the award on behalf of DATTCO was Donald DeVivo, President. DATTCO supports the Boy Scouts organization in numerous ways. This summer they are providing daily bus transportation free of charge to Scout camps in the towns of Bozrah, East Hartford and New Hartford. They also provide a smaller mini-bus to each camp to be used in the event of emergencies. |
