DATTCO GIVES BACK

On Saturday, April 28 2012 DATTCO employees took part in Rebuilding Together New Britain.

The mission for Rebuilding Together is to bring volunteers and communities together to improve the homes and lives of homeowners in need.

DATTCO showed why we are a role model in the community by partnering with Rebuilding Together and aiding a deserving individual.

This year, DATTCO was happy to assist New Britain resident, Lucia Genovese.

Lucia is a 80 year old woman who is unable to take care of the manual labor of her home.

Lucia’s family does the best they can to assist with the up-keep of the home, however with DATTCO's help, Lucia’s house received a complete makeover!

With a crew of 28 people, DATTCO employees and other volunteers arrived at Lucia’s home to complete such tasks as cutting her lawn,

revitalizing flower beds, fixing a broken door on her shed, trimming hedges, painting a basement floor and creating a 60 FOOT dry river bed to aid with drainage issues the home was facing.

Ever gracious, Lucia’s Daughter, Lucy, contacted DATTCO the following Monday to let us know how much the family appreciated our efforts.

But what Lucia and Lucy do not know is how grateful we are at DATTCO to be able to assist them.

From Lucy (the Daughter):

"Roger:

A very huge thank you to you and your entire team.

My mom’s house is absolutely beautiful!

She is so pleased and appreciative as am I for all your heard work today.

Your team was amazing.

Not only were they so knowledge and professional, but I also found them to be so courteous and polite.

They all worked so well together and accomplished so much in so little time.

So if you would please extend my heartfelt gratitude and thanks to all I would be most appreciative.

I just can’t thank you and the entire Rebuilding Team enough for all that you’ve done.

I will take pictures and send them along.

Thanks again,

Lucy"
