High School Baseball Triple Header Series at Dunkin Donuts Park to Benefit CT Cancer Foundation
Event Scheduled for April 12th, 2018
New Britain, CT, April 3, 2018:On April 12th, 2018, DATTCO, Inc. will host a high school baseball tripleheader series at the Hartford Yard Goats’ stadium, Dunkin Donuts Park. Six Connecticut high school teams will face off in an exclusive chance to play in a pro ballpark, with all the pro amenities. All proceeds from ticket sales will benefit cancer patients living in Connecticut, and receiving assistance from Connecticut Cancer Foundation (CCF).
“DATTCO is pleased to provide teams with this unique opportunity, but the impact of this year’s event goes beyond the stadium walls because of our partnership with Connecticut Cancer Foundation,” said Kyle DeVivo, DATTCO’s Director of Employee Relations. “DATTCO is dedicated to investing in the communities we serve through support of events and charities. We hope this event has a great impact not only on the players but the Connecticut Cancer Foundation’s recipients as well.”
DATTCO, headquartered in New Britain, CT, is a Yard Goats sponsor, and one of Connecticut’s largest school transportation providers. 2018 marks the second year DATTCO has sponsored this event.
The Connecticut Cancer Foundation’s mission is to assist Connecticut cancer patients and their families financially and to fund cancer research. Since its inception in 1987, CCF has provided financial assistance to Connecticut families stricken with cancer for basic living needs such as rent, mortgage, utilities, medical co-pays, food, medications, and more. Patients are referred and evaluated for qualification by oncology social workers from Connecticut hospitals, cancer treatment centers, and hospices.
Game day schedule is as follows:
- Game 1at 3:00 pm – Hopkins School vs. Kingswood-Oxford
- Game 2 at 5:15 pm – Choate Rosemary Hall vs. Hotchkiss School
- Game 3 at 7:30 pm – East Catholic vs. Northwest Catholic
Tickets can be purchased online or the day of the event for $5.00, which includes admission to all three games. All proceeds will be donated to CCF.
